The Return

Back to my photoblog that I neglected for about a year once I got a job that I thought I would love. Unfortunately, it was the job I would have loved 15 years ago. The hours were ridiculous and the management worse. I was told that the deadlines were fluid. That was an understatement. Anyways, that’s over now, thankfully.
I’ve done a lot of thinking. I am ready to pursue many things that I put on the backburner for years. I rediscovered writing, photography, jewelry design and myself. This last item has brought a lot of peace and acceptance. I am happier than I’ve been for some time.
Still, I need to find employment because sadly I’m too young to retire yet. This time my job has to allow me to pursue my personal projects. Quality of life is important to me now. I have put enjoyment aside in too many parts of my life, pursuing my career. I have to be comfortable and happy now. Everyday can’t be a party but most days must be fulfilling.
